rain clouds.........on a sunny day

well the last two rain clouds are done. unfortunately you can't really see the awesome striped rain drop or the shiny gold droplet. they don't have homes yet but hopefully soon.

i haven't made these in awhile. but it's been overcast and threatening to rain here for a couple of days...... just sort of blech. so i thought some happy clouds with colourful rain drops might brighten my mood. and they did. i hope they brighten your mood too.
i have two more larger ones almost finished. i may have to embroider faces on those.

these are my most favorite dolls. i have a box of them and would be content to keep them all. they are available at maude in petaluma. if you haven't been there is a beautiful shop full of wonderful things.
i need to get back to sewing.

mushroom men

so i have been thinking about these guys for awhile. i've drawn so many version that this time rather then drawing on paper, i drew on fabric. the patterns have already evolved into yet another version. so these are the only two like this. they will be available at maude on kentucky street in petaluma.
i've also got some lovely raining clouds started. as soon as i'm done typing i'll be sewing rain drops together. i hope to have some pictures posted later today.

So i have been working on some new dolls. these very darling little kitties to be exact. some are sweet and some are quite naughty. i'm hand stitching their nose and mouth and they have such personality.

my husband got a new camera and shot a bit of footage. hope you enjoy.
