so i don't have pictures of kitty cats. instead i have a beautiful cake for a wonderful friend. happy birthday sandi.

mushrooms N-Q

i've just finished some new mushrooms. there are now mushroom men A-Q. that is quite a few. i have 9 more drawings to go. then there will be a family photo. i can hardly wait.

bits of very pretty

this some antique kimono fabric i found at my secret store. i love it.

inspiration

friday i went to the city and this is what i found at scrap. if you have never been..it is quite a trip. there is a lot to look at at. scrap is what it sounds like. a warehouse full of scraps. fabric, glass, metal bits, thread, paper. it is a bit overwhelming. but if you stay focused you can find all sorts of linen and cotton and bias tape, and some lovely brown velvet.
all of what you see will become owls, and kitties. it makes me happy:)
if all goes well i'll have some pictures later today.
